As the sole sound designer at Simple Energy, I was responsible for the complete audio system for the Gen-2 vehicle — from initial concept to final delivery. Every interaction and functional sound the rider would encounter, designed and delivered end-to-end.
My guiding philosophy was simple: sounds should be minimal, clean, and purposeful — soft and non-intrusive, with character only where needed, while ensuring every cue conveyed its purpose clearly.
A major challenge was the vehicle's tiny mono speaker, which could not reproduce frequencies below 400–500 Hz. This required careful tuning across every cue — especially for functional sounds like Reverse Mode and system notifications.
